Updates

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted, I know!  I’ve just been busy with a lot of different things.  Here’s a quick rundown of what’s been going on on:

-I spent a good portion of December and January studying for the AUD and BEC sections of the CPA exam.  After waiting for scores for so long, I finally found out that…wait for it…I PASSED BOTH!!  WOHOO!!  What a relief.  For those not familiar with the exam, there are four sections and each is loaded with tons of info.  It’s not an easy exam to pass, so I will truly celebrate each time I pass one of the four parts.  Next I’ll be taking REG on May 29th and then FAR on July 26th.  Wish me luck!

-V got some great news at the beginning of February too.  She was hired as a legal assistant at a law firm in Westlake!!  Since she graduated she was very patient waiting for the right job to open up.  We both decided she shouldn’t jump into the wrong job right away just to make some money…and the patience certainly paid off.  The job she has now is outstanding and the firm does business in Shanghai.  There’s a good chance V will get some business trips back home!!

-February is the birthday month for both V and I.  On the 7th we had a quiet celebration for V at home and watched some movies.  On the 17th V met me in Elyria to have dinner at Red Lobster and stay in a hotel with me, as I was on a business trip in Sandusky at the time.  It was so nice of her to come out and meet me.  Definitely a birthday that I’ll always remember!
